Small things I love in “Waiting on a Miracle ”

There’s gonna be a lot on this list also I’m doing it for all the other songs too!

• How all of the family are posing! Everyone if them is doing something unique to them and I love it!
• Luisa casually holding a bolder
• Pepas rainbow!!!
• The firefly’s behind them!
• The toucans flying over them and Antonio gesturing to them!!
• How a happy scene for them is genuinely heartbreaking for Mirabel
• How they don’t remember her is just tragic and beautifully done!
• Mirabel taking a deep breath before singing and looking on the verge of tears
• How she starts off trying to tell herself to stop being sad
• Acting like she dosent deserve to be sad over something so small and it’s so realistic!
• The reflection in Mirabels glasses
• How she keeps blinking her eyes like shes trying to stop herself from crying
• “Hey I’m still apart of the family madrigal”
• Her assuring herself that she’s apart of them is just gorgeously heartbreaking
• Her saying over and and that’s shes fine until she just breaks and says “I’m not fine!”
• Mirabel slightly opening her arms as she “talks to them”
• Her being shadowed as she’s in front of the light and her family still being lit up
• THE EXPRESSIONS
• The look that she give Luisa as she looks up at her holding a bolder
• How she slightly matched Isabelas pose and reaches out to her slightly but dosent
• How she steps back and away from them with the water flowing in the background still covered in shadows as her family is lit up!
• Mirabel grabbing onto her mums shoulders and slightly hugging her
• The gentle hand she puts on Pepas shoulder as she looks at her
• The way Mirabel looks back one last time before walking away going through the crowd to get out the door
• Her being the only one in the room looking slightly sad, everyone else has bright smiles
• The kids running in the stairs with sparklers
• And Mirabel tracing her hand across them as she walks down the stairs
• How Mirabels skirt moves slower than her like it’s also slowing down
• How she’s basically begging for a chance to prove herself
• The way abuela just blankly stares as Mirabel is swinging around her begging for a chance to prove herself
• THE GODAMN LIGHTING
• IYS BEAUTIFUL
• the way the mountains erupt from the ground
• The way flowers come out from under her dress like they did for Isabela earlier
• How casita appears it’s just beautiful
• THE WAY THE FAMILY IS LOOKING AT MIRABEL
• Luisa is cheering with her arms in the air
• How pepa is clutching her heart as she states lovingly
• Julieta and Agustins faces matching how they look at the end of the Movie
• Camilo, Dolores and Antonio all having their arms up and reaching for her lovingly
• And all Mirabel wanting from abuela is just a warm smile
• It’s heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time
• Mirabel reaching out for Isabela but pulling away instantly
• Her running up the stairs and the lighting immediately changing from warm colours to cool colours,
• It’s breathtaking
• The fireworks about to go off but just as she stamps her foot they start too
• THE FIREWORKS GOING OFF ON BEAT
• It’s beautiful
• Honestly I think this song is the prettiest looking out the movie just before what else can I do
• How Mirabels constantly clutching at her her shirt
• THE FIREWORKS REFLECTING OFF MIRABELS GLASSES
• The bright light of a firework and she’s back in the courtyard
• But now it’s completely empty and she completely covered in shadows
• The brokenness in Mirabels voice
• MIRABELS FACE ITS JUSG GUTRENCHING
• The little
• “Am I too late for a miracle ”
