sentence-enhancers:

When boko haram killed thousands of people last month everyone was up in arms saying that America needs to go to Africa and stop them.

Whenever someone says the same thing about ISIS, the response is that they’re not a threat to the west, that more muslims are murdered by them than westerners (as if that’s a valid reason to not give a fuck?), that the KKK had more members at one point in time or that America’s police officers are a bigger threat, and calling out isis is essentially promoting Islamophobia.

May I add that boko haram has also sworn allegiance to the Islamic state?

I’m failing to see why people on Tumblr have an issue with one, yet dismiss the other. It doesn’t fucking matter where it happens, whenever thousands of innocent people are being slaughtered it is, by default, important and should be dealt with.

The fact that that even needs to be said is asinine.
