Give Medusa a break. The poor woman is cursed with so many things.  ”When Perseus beheaded her (PREGGO AT THE TIME THANKS TO POSEIDON), Pegasus, a winged horse, and Chrysaor, a golden sword-wielding giant, sprang from her body”  I didn’t realize that Chrysaor was also hanging out in there too until just now. :S
