I can’t remember if I asked this or not, but, hypothetically speaking, could a demon repent and be saved? Obviously that’s guaranteed to never actually happen, but is it a matter of being reprobate or are they “too far gone”? The workings of the spiritual realm intrigue me and this blog helped me to reassess what’s been passed through the media.
Idk but as I define a “demon,” I doubt it. I take the Enochian view because it gives context that explains NT passages well. In that view, the “demons” are the “unclean spirits” of the NT. They are the ghosts of dead nephilim, those hybrid beings brought about by the Watcher’s dalliance. They are “unclean” due to coming from a forbidden mixture.
Nephilim would have had to repent while still alive. So once dead, their lot is up, like us.
What I think you are asking about is the rebellious Holy Ones. Those spirit beings created by YHVH prior to us. They are the Princes, the messengers and Satan, of course.
We are told in the book of Hebrews that Christ did not come for them. If there is some other mechanism for their repentance, we are not told. But I do kind of think that they are in the “should have known better” territory
