Back to school

This is better shot and more interesting than most modern movie fight scenes

Extremely valid

In a denim ducking skirt no less

Fred Astaire famously required filming dance sequences with wide shots, long takes, and few cuts, so that audiences could see the whole dance and the skill required would be on full display, plus it meant that everyone knew there’s no camera tricks to hide errors.

This sequence is a single shot with no cuts, where the entire body of both her and whoever she’s fighting is on-screen at basically all times. It looks better than your average Marvel fight sequence because it was shot to show the fight, not the special effects, and we recognize that even if a lot of people don’t realize WHY they’re so dissatisfied with modern blockbusters.
