1 BENDY and BORIS are playing “catch the ring”.
(They are standing next to each other, slightly bouncing, there is a close-up with a sound effect on the ring BENDY is holding. There is a sticker on the ring that says “DOG CHEWING TOY”.)
SOUND: RUBBERY MOVEMENTS FOR THEM BOUNCING.
SOUND: SQUEAK FOR REVEALING THE STICKER ON THE TOY.
2 BENDY throws the ring to the left, it flies out of the frame.
SOUND: THROWN OBJECT (WHISTLE).
3 The ring flies through the screen.
SOUND: WHISTLING SOUND EFFECT.
4 The ring hits ALICE’S halo.
SOUND: BELL THAT HAS BEEN HIT.
Both rings shake in the air.
5 BORIS runs in ALICE’S direction.
His tongue is out, he makes big steps, raising his knees very high.
SOUND: CLAVES SOUNDS EACH STEP.
6 ALICE shown in shock.
Close up, she appears from behind parts of the background, suddenly fully visible, the “camera” is shaking up and down as she’s approached – as if the scene was seen through BORIS’ eyes.
7 BLACK SCREEN.
SOUND: CAR BREAKS/CAR SUDDENLY STOPPING.
8 EXPLOSION.
SOUND: CAR CRASH.
9 BENDY runs into the scene (from the right).
Zoom out. From a simple background to more complex one (city, maybe some shops, baskets with vegetables and fruits), showing ALICE and BORIS on the ground.
BENDY stands in top right corner, ALICE and BORIS lay in bottom left corner. ALICE’S head is not visible at any point.
10 ALICE and BORIS get up and look at each other.
SOUND: BOTH GROANING.
The camera raises with them from the ground, the top of ALICE’S head still isn’t visible (or rather just enough not to show the halo).
11 BORIS grits his teeth and makes a SCARED SOUND. There’s sweat coming out of his head.
12 ALICE rubs her head with one eye closed, her face is displeased:
“WHAT?”
13 Shot to BENDY. He makes a SCARED SOUND (SQUEAKY).
He starts shaking. His knees wobble.
SOUND: WOBBLING METAL SHEET.
BENDY points up twice.
SOUND: POINTING (TWANG, TWICE).
14 ALICE looks up with her lips forming an “O”.
“OH?”
15 Above ALICE’S head there’s an outline of her missing halo and it blinks 3 times.
SOUND: RECEPTION BELL (THRICE).
16 ALICE gasps and BORIS pulls his ears whining.
17 BENDY pokes BORIS’ shoulder.
At first only BENDY’S hand is in the shot. Then it zooms out and shows the smiling devil. BORIS turns his snout in BENDY’S direction.
18 BENDY points in the top left corner.
SOUND: TWANG.
19 The halo hits the ground thrice, getting away, into the distance.
20 BORIS and BENDY look at each other, smiling, smiles growing.
SOUND: BANJO STRUMMING (AS THE SMILES GROW).
21 ALICE is shown on the screen, lamenting:
“OH, GOSH, OH, DEAR.”
22 SOUND: GUNSHOT.
23 ALICE looks in the direction of the noise.
24 Zoom out. ALICE looks at the cloud of dust remaining in shapes of BORIS and BENDY, who just left in hurry (which wasn’t shown, is just implied).
25 ALICE stares at the smoke and claps her cheeks with her hands at the sight.
SOUND: SQUEAK.
26 A different location of the town is shown. Just a background with a bakery in its center.
27 SOUND: BUTCHER GANG THEME.
28 SOUND: CITY SOUNDS.
29 Doors of the bakery open. CHARLEY, BARLEY and EDGAR walk out of them.
BARLEY carries two boxes stacked on top of each other that contain donuts. EDGAR has two donuts hanged per each arm and holds another two in hands. CHARLEY doesn’t carry anything.
30 CHARLEY rubs his hands.
SOUND: MARACAS.
31 CHARLEY tries to take out a donut out of the top box, grinning maliciously.
32 The halo flies between CHARLEY and BARLEY, hitting the ground once and flying out of the frame (comes in from the right, leaves through the left).
33 CHARLEY backs out a bit as the halo interrupts. BUTCHER GANG looks after the halo, shocked.
34 SOUND: BUTCHER GANG MUSIC STOPS.
35 SOUND: RECORD SCRATCH.
36 SOUND: BENDY CARTOON THEME (SPED UP).
37 BENDY and BORIS run into the BUTCHER GANG.
38 SOUND: CRASH.
39 BARLEY drops the boxes and all the donuts fly out of them, jumping like the halo.
40 SOUND: FALLING OBJECT.
41 BENDY looks around, holding his head, there’s rings jumping everywhere. Fire starts burning in the background, all characters are running around.
42 Someone’s finger taps BENDY on the back.
43 BENDY turns around. Zoom out. It’s CHARLEY. He’s mad and makes GROWLING SOUNDS.
44 BENDY makes a scared face and runs away.
SOUND: QUICKLY RUNNING AWAY (WHISTLE).
45 CHARLEY runs after him.
First CHARLEY makes a pose before running and spins his leg around as for “getting ready to run”.
46 EDGAR has now only the rings hanged on his arms.
He looks at his hands.
SOUND: SQUEAKS.
Then he looks straight ahead.
47 EDGAR notices a laying ring.
SOUND: SQUEAK (DIFFERENT ONE, VICTORY ONE).
48 Close-up on the laying ring. It glows.
49 SOUND: ANGELIC CHORUS.
50 EDGAR picks up the halo and smiles at it (there’s a zoom at his face).
SOUND: SQUEAK.
51 SOUND: CHOMP.
52 EDGAR has a confused, “goofy” expression.
53 Zoom out. BORIS bit his arm with the halo and two donuts.
54 EDGAR’S eyes jump out as he stares at BORIS.
SOUND: CAR HORN.
55 EDGAR jumps in the air and waves his limbs around.
56 SOUND: HIGH-PITCHED, AGGRESSIVE SQUEAKS.
57 Scene change to BENDY running (he runs from left to right).
He turns around once and then slows down, leans against a wall with one hand and pants.
SOUND: PANTING (WHISTLING).
58 SOUND: STOMACH GRUMBLING.
59 BENDY looks into the direction of that sound (right).
60 BORIS holds his stomach. ALICE is standing next to him.
61 BORIS has a hiccup and lets out a few bubbles, one of them containing the halo.
62 SOUND: BUBBLE POP.
63 The bubble pops and the halo “falls” on ALICE’S head. Before hitting her head it stops, shaking like a car stopping suddenly.
SOUND: CAR SCREECH.
64 ALICE, holding her hands together, with a happy face:
“THANK YOU!”
65 BORIS rubs the back of his head, confused but happy.
SOUND: SCRATCHING.
66 BENDY watches the scene with a disappointed expression.
67 BENDY looks up and collapses from exhaustion.
SOUND EFFECT: HITTING THE GROUND (THUD).
68 The screen fades to black, zooming into a circle as BENDY falls.
69 THE END.
