Some phrases I heard today that made me realize how southern my parents can be:
“Well look at that, the Devil’s beatin’ his wife”
“You got a champagne taste on a beer budget”
“Lookin’ like a lost ball in high weeds”
“You’re putting your cart before the horse”I may as well have sweet tea in one hand and friend chicken in the other…I do love being from Louisiana.
