The Roperite is a Fearsome Critter that can only be found in the Sierra Nevada mountain range. So little is known about this Fearsome Critter that it is a mystery if the beast is hatched from an egg, born alive, or even magically spawn in a cave somewhere. Its skin is like leather and can not be harmed by the thorns it runs through, nor can its flipper-like feet be injured by sharp rocks in the mountains. It is said that no creature can outrun the Roperite. It uses its lasso-like beak to snare its prey.
