catkin-morgs:

I read the Tailor of Gloucester when I was a child at my grandma’s. It seemed exceedingly long and strange and beautiful. I’d already been introduced to some of the others, but that one I remember specifically as a grandma thing 🙂

My copy of the beautiful hardcover volume – given by my grandparents, I do believe – is sitting open to the Tale of the Flopsy Bunnies, as we speak, a couple of metres away.

I doubt I’ll be able to embroider the Flopsy Bunnies very satisfactorily, but I’m up for the challenge xD

I meant ToG the animation, especially the rats scene. Shame the soundtrack isn’t the same as the one in the movie. |:( But in terms of books, A Tale of Two Bad Mice is one of my faves…mainly because it has a dollhouse lol.

And that’s such a cute memory too! ;v;
