My favorite things about Dolores’s character:
- The fact that she’s very soft spoken and is constantly whispering because she has enhanced hearing
- She covers her ears before the fireworks go off at Antonio’s gift ceremony
- Her saying that the only ones worried about the magic was the “rats in the wall,” which she knew was true because she could HEAR BRUNO’S RATS
- The fact that she knew Bruno was still there because she could hear him but kept his secret
- And the fact that her description of Bruno was the most truthful and accurate
