• Usually has a deck of cards up his sleeves that he shuffles around with during slow or quiet times.
• Mingles and socializes with most of the casino’s patrons
• Works on composing and coming up with arrangements for his band to perform for weekends or special occasions
• humming or whistling to himself 
• Taking debtors or card-counters to the back room with a couple of bouncers for some good old fashioned extortion  
• Taking it easy in his study with some scotch and a slow, jazzy vinyl on the phonograph after a long day
