I don’t agree with homosexuality and abortion, BUT I feel like we should still give people the same rights we have to how we want to live our lives and what to do with it. I don’t support any of those things I mentioned, but I feel like we cant force people to be a certain way or force them to do something they don’t want to do because God gave everyone free will to follow Him or not. Is that a bad way to think of things?Should I not agree with giving women who want abortions and the LGBT rights
Great question beloved.
It is one that many believers have difficulty navigating. The Crux of the issue here is should we ever align ourselves with sin, and the answer is no.
Some say no one should be able to impose their standards on others, but as a society we always do. We have a standard that certain drugs should be illegal. There are some that don’t think so, yet those standards are imposed on them.
Someone is deemed ineligible to be married even up to the day before their 18th birthday. A 16 year old can drive a car in my home state of California but has no marriage rights. A standard that is imposed on them though they may deem it unfair.
Murderers may feel justified in their killings but we impose our standard of not killing others on them.
Anytime a believer has any influence on what is allowed in their land it’s their responsibility to make earth look more like heaven by aligning ourselves with what God had told us and not just with people’s feelings.
Blessings on you
