I really hate how people are so willing to throw away the example set in front of their eyes about the cultural problems that rest within the Islamic communities currently enacting violence across the globe.

A single person can say that the red cups are not too festive at Starbucks, and everyone says that the Christians are saying that it’s a war on Christmas.

Yet, refugees that come flooding in, the majority of which are 20-40 year old men end up killing over 100 people and no one is willing to question their beliefs.

There’s a point when high roading has to stop. I have worked in the Middle East, I have read the Quaran, and had it translated to me from the original language by native Arabic speakers, and I have even worked along side Arabic Muslims to help see their communities improved. By their personal admission, by the letter of their law, by the words of their leaders, and by the actions of their people, their peace only comes by violence on infidels.

So do the lives of those within Islamic communities not matter, when their government sanctioned executions take place because they want to be part of another religion, or because they aren’t willing to let their children be taken for shameful abuses by their leaders, or their women to be comfort for solders?

Do the French lives not matter?

Germany proves that people can be swayed, that an entire country can be driven to believing something that is destructive and disregards human life. The crusades that Christians were enacting during the time of the holy Roman Catholic church in the Middle Ages also lets us see how a people can be deceived into horrific religiously fueled war.

I’m aware that no one wants to believe what’s going on right now, it was the same in the 30’s and 40’s. Avoiding conflict is natural and healthy in many circumstances, and who wants hate in their heart? It is folly to persist past reality, however, We are just like our ancestors who refused to see the threat of their day, leading to the deaths of over 14 million people who’s crime was peaceful religion, sexual orientation, and heritage.

An entire movement was created, with marches, riots, and harsh media coverage over the 14 teen deaths by cop in the last year, with boisterous and loud support on the Internet.

Why do these hundred and sixty dead, as of the time I write this, and the thousands dead before them by the hands of Islamic participants not generate the same rage.
