but anyway why is Bruno’s room full of stone effigies of his own screaming face??? was that his idea or casita’s? were those there when he got the room as a 5 year old or were they added later? did he just like the ✨aesthetic✨? were they an attempt to deter visitors? did he just want to amp up his “spooky fortune teller” vibes or were they just something he thought would be hilarious to do after an especially wild night out drinking with his brothers-in-law?
It’s one of these things that seem really cool when you’re a teenager and not-so-much, once you’re older.
so you know the hole in the wall of casita that leads to bruno’s makeshift room?
on this picture we can see its up to about bruno’s hip (keep in mind that bruno is 5′4) so not that much off of the floor (we also know this as mirabel easily stepped over the wall part when she went through the secret passage)
remember this part of the movie?
given that we know this information now, and this might just be me over thinking about this (or he did a backflip or something), but i’m pretty sure when falling backwards into the walls like this, Bruno would have landed straight onto his shoulders/head
Came across this curious headline while searching for reference images.
(you’ll find it is completely misleading, if you read the article – rats can apparently imagine future events in their dreams which is not ‘seeing future‘)
Anyway, to make this a post about Bruno, have some old art I found on my harddrive:
Finally finished this and I am so happy with the result 😊 If you compare it to the lineart I posted about 6 weeks ago, you will notice that I redid all the heads😅
La Traes is a wonderful story revolving around Antonio, Bruno and Mirabel with a soft and warm atmosphere, I tried to capture with my art.
