Seriously though this woman had such an amazing career!
From early roles in movies like Gaslight.
To the best controlling mother ever portrayed on film in The Manchurian Candidate (and was very controversial at the time with the undertones mother and son incestuous relationship)
To her turns on Broadway in Mame, Gypsy, and Sweeney Todd.
One of my personal favorite of Ms. Lansury’s was the film version of The Pirates of Penzance with her and Kevin Kline!!!
And of course her signature role…Jessica Fletcher in Murder She Wrote.
So thank you Angela Lansbury for all the entertainment for the better part of 80 years!!
