Yep, pretty awesome eh?
If you can’t understand why that’s a dig, let me put it another way:
“I don’t understand why I’m considered arrogant for thinking that I’m temporary; insignificant; I’m a blink in the cosmic eye, and that it’s existed long before me and won’t remember me very long. I’m arrogant for that, but the Christian who claims that he is the reason the universe exists is humble in his ideology.” Aron Ra
Dude, like, no.
We’re blades of grass and grains of sand, man. There’s nothing in Christianity claiming humans have some great importance by our own merit; God just has incredible attention to the smallest parts of His creation. He’s a loving, wonderful, amazing God who crafted a ginormous universe and still cares so much about the inhabitants of one small out-of-the-way planet that He literally submitted to death to save us from ourselves.
The ‘dig’ that the headline is going for is pretty obvious, but falls short because most Christians already ponder our own relative insignificance on the grand scale of things in order to have more wonder for the love that God has showed us in caring.
True. I guess it depends on how you view the word “have”.
On
one hand “have” could mean that He made the whole Universe literally
just for your sake. On the other, it says how He did all these wondrous
things and accomplishments, which eventually led to the relationship
between Him and man and his subsequent worship of God.
Language is funny sometimes.

Who is making that point? The Universe exists for God’s glory not us specifically. If there was a person, or people, claiming that, they are woefully misled to say the least.

Please pray for one of my patients, a young girl, and her family. She has gone through some of the most awful things you can think of at the hands of an adult she trusted. They really, really need prayers. Thank you.
Psalm 121:8
The LORD will keep you from all harm— He will watch over your life, The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever
The challenge there is that both of those procedures carry some significant risks, especially the hysterectomy, and some doctors are hesitant to do tubal ligations on young women.
But I do think people should take responsibility for not getting pregnant if pregnancy is such a horrifying thing to them.
The reality is that we need better education on pregnancy and health, because the vast majority of women can safely carry to term with proper care and support. The risks are played way up, and the fear doesn’t help anyone.
Most importantly, we need OBs that value life and are willing to explore various options to help a mother safely carry, rather than pushing abortion at the first sign of a complication.
Oh I know there’s a risk either way. I’m mostly referring to those who are borderline rabid for abortions, to the point of sickness. The ones who unironically think the worse thing that can happen to a woman is to have a child, even if it’s directly caused by her actions and choices. If they have to have one surgery vs possibly multiple other ones (if they can be called those, I’m genuinely not sure) then I imagine it’d be a “safer” option to take the one that removes the possibility of pregnancy altogether. Then they can have as much unprotected sex as they want with truly no repercussions (pregnancy). You think more of them would do that instead, especially how some actively hate children and babies. Plus, no menstrual cycle which should be heaven from a rose-tinted glasses standpoint. Because let’s face it, many (not all. NOT. ALL.) of these abortion endorsers only want sex without consequences and abortions grant them that.
Might as well make a choice that grants it to you permanently and avoid the mess entirely.

Never ever forget that abortion survivors exist
Pro-choicers hear stuff like this and go, “Well, it was your mom’s choice, sweaty uwu. Just because you ended up being carried to term doesn’t mean I don’t have the right to kill my own kids, you sexist.”
This is a great speech. Finally, at least this once, the aborted millions DO have a voice. And just listen to what she says. If you are trying to work out if abortion is OK or not (or if you already think it is OK), just ask this one-time abortion (warning – she doesn’t hold back).
#dont go through the notes theyre disgusting#‘id tell her to her face that her mom had the right to do it’ maybe you need an exorcism dude holy shit#this all makes more sense if u accept that demons are real and roaming abt the earth
I know I saw that one in particular. Holy sh*t people are straight up evil. Then these same maniacs have the utter gall to act like they’re the reasonable, compassionate ones.
seeing as we’ve moved on from “this would kill a Victorian child (the same ones that snorted cocaine for a head cold)” to “this would kill a medieval peasant” I just have to say. you can’t eat a meal without your phone or tv blasting shit directly into your brain and you get all of your social interaction and conflict resolution skills from moral posturing on the internet leading to massive arguments inside of discord servers. you think that medieval peasant whose been toiling fields since age 2 unwashed covered in smallpox scars just witnessed a man get dragged through town until his skin got roadrashed off because he stole an apple is gonna melt because they heard your garbage lemon demon playlist? you have to make your mutuals trigger tag naruto because it reminds you of your ex who kinned sasuke mothefucker YOU would melt instantly if you were in the pit at a Shakespeare play

Sometimes I think about how the paintings of the agony in the garden are ……..inaccurate? I mean Jesus is fully God but He is also fully man and when we are afraid we don’t usually look up placidly at the sky while kneeling in the grass. I basically break down before taking a hard exam and you think that Jesus was all stoic like that before He was tortured and died for us? No, He sweat blood.
Now look at THIS
Who it by?
It’s by Adam Abram, thanks for asking. His work is wonderfulll.
Here’s a few more that aren’t just, you know, looking up at the sky.
Still a little chillaxed but He in pain
Praying hard
This one features the angel ministering to Him so that’s neat.
