Gonna cry at the implications of this question… Spamton just wanted to be noticed and Noelle was the only Lightner who ever read his spam emails. He even sent her Pipis as thank you and sounds emotional thinking about her. It also explains a lot of Noelle’s weird Petz egg-related blog entries from the Spamton Sweepstakes
Also “World’s First Charity” – something tells me that was the first time he ever willingly gave someone a gift, since we KNOW Spamton does not give anything away for free ever (loving money, only knowing buying and selling, and being a salesman and all). Sending her a gift must have been a very big deal to him
