Lord, the people of Fort McMurray have lost so much. We ask You to bless them and provide for their every need. Help those who have lost their homes and livelihoods to find ways to provide for their families’ needs. Touch the hearts of those who are watching this tragedy from afar to donate funds to support and help rebuild this community. Help the firefighters control this fire and bring an end to its destruction. Lord we ask You to stay the winds and bring rain to douse the fires. Provide housing for those who have lost their homes and bring to them every good thing that they need to sustain their families. Amen.
