I just saw the post the other day where you mentioned giving your number out instead of waiting to receive it and that sounds like a nightmare tbh. I can’t even talk to a cashier at a store without feeling like I’ve embarrassed myself. Also, I’ve never heard of GFD but oh my goodness it sounds like exactly what I’ve always wanted ; w;
A big part of /rr/ I think, maybe, from the guy’s side, is putting the ball in the women’s court. We don’t actually live in an /rr/ world where it’s the norm, so we all have to be a little considerate of social structure/conditioning/whatever psychobabble lingo I’m not qualified to talk about the person of interest has been raised in. A guy handing out his number does two things: establishes that he’s interested (thereby taking doubt away from the one he’s giving his number to) and also gives the green light for the other to make the next move.
I think it can really work, and definitely set the tone for a relationship. Did it work for me? No, but I only did it once and then hid in my room for a few weeks so I’m not a good example.
And /rr/ + /gfd/ is love and life
