I was kinda torn between if I wanted to draw these Pokemon in a cartoonish way or a semi realistic one so I ended up doing both.
While the cartoonish one was just kinda experimenting with shapes the more realistic take has a more elaborate backstory. Essentially I was watching a video someone tickling a sphynx kitten and realized… they look basically just like mew.Like a lot of debates have been made is mew is a mix of a cat and an embryo but it could be merely a particularly floaty hairless cat. At the same time I had a glance at adult sphynx cats and realize their head structure is actually decently similar to Mewtwo. So yeah I was inspired to make some wrinkly interpretations based on that observation.
Both images were drawn on paper and coloured digitally. So enjoy!
