On 12 November, 1991, a hunter in Oklahoma witnessed from a distance, a woman, who looked like she was giving birth in a forest. She was with a man, who then beat something repeatedly before placing it in a bag. When the couple left, the man went over the inspect what had happened. His fears were confirmed when he found a dead baby in the bag which they had left behind. He quickly called authorities. The case seemed to go cold until July 2009, when DNA confirmed that Penny Anita Lowry was the mother of the baby. She was sentenced to forty years in prison. She refused to name the man who took part in the murder.
Why was she sentenced to 40 years though? She killed a baby that was her own and barely even a person. Just because she squeezed it out doesn’t make it a person. Babies die as infants all the time. It’s not like she raped someone… I fuckin wish my mom had killed me as an infant lol. I think if she didn’t want it/couldn’t raise it and couldn’t get an abortion she should be gone easy on. I’m sure she didn’t do it for fun so ppl need to chill. I feel bad for her and I’m not sorry.
