Rant time
So Frankston high school just declared their school as a Trans inclusive, safe space for young people to feel accepted and able to express themselves however they feel appropriate.
Some members of the community, being of similar faith to mine, have decided that it is the wrong thing to accommodate the minority’s needs. As a result, they have pulled their children from the school, denying them education in fear of “the gays”
As a result of all of this, people in my community and out of my community that I am attached to feel as though it is their duty to speak into the situation, because of their beliefs and because they think themselves higher than the common population. As they share the same faith as I, I am fucking angry.
How DARE they pass judgement against another human being? The job of a disciple of Jesus is to Go and Make Disciples along the way. We aren’t called to judge. We aren’t called to separate sheep from the goats. We are simply told, love as I have loved you and bring My creation to meet Me.
It honestly worries me about the state of the theology that is being taught to young people in the world. Christ never excluded anyone, from the bleeding woman, to Jairus’ daughter. He said “let the children come to Me.” He asked us to be all things to all men so that some may know Christ.
I worry that this side of Jesus isn’t being taught. I worry that people will turn away from God, because they feel as though they aren’t good enough to receive His love because of their life choices. This is not a god I follow, instead, I follow the God that radically loves and chooses us, even when we are in the midst of sin. But He loves us way too much to ever leave us in that sin.
You are wrong in many ways.
1.) We are told to go and teach the repentance and remission of sins. That involves defining sin. What I think is that you are a friend of the world. You seek the world’s approval and will blow of your duty to try to spread the gospel so that the world will like you. That’s really BAD. People’s souls are on the line. If you had REAL love, you’d be upfront that their sin will take away their place in heaven, even if that means they hate you.
And then you disgustingly accuse these parents of hate for not wanting their children to go to a school where any alleged trans can go in any locker room.
Your whole rant is lies and half truths used to “judge” other people right after you attacked them for allegedly doing so.
Shame on you.
