See, the thing about the Violet situation? There's nothing wrong with a teen realizing they like the same gender, but what IS wrong is you ADULTS looking for SEXUAL REPRESENTATION in a CHILD who is into boys IN CANON and deciding that unless the movie suddenly becomes all about gay representation, which was never the point of this movie franchise to begin with, you won't accept it and it shouldn't exist.
