If you aren’t a veteran please try at least to be compassionate. You may not understand what is in the mind of the warrior, but you can hold their hand, and seek to heal their heart.

Many hands make light of a heavy load. They bore your liberty; now help bear their pain.

The freedom we take for granted is the burden they carry. Our compassion is the very least we can give back to them. God bless our men and women who have served in the military.

Every day 22 take their lives.  The war isn’t left on the battlefield, most of us want to go back just so we can feel like we belong.  Too many of us reach this point, I know I did at one point.  It’s real and it happens every single day.
