you people just started paying attention. this has been happening for decades. my elementary school had a padded room. my brother has been locked in it. its barbaric.

These are some examples. They’re usually called the “Time Out Room”. Mine was just a janitorial closet that they cleaned out, put a desk and chair in, and put one-way mirror film on the door window. Mostly special education programs use them, but I’ve heard they’ve spread to general ed. It’s supposed to be used for just a few minutes at a time, but there were many days where I was locked in all day.

Also, “antivaxers” have been outspoken about Big Pharma’s corruption for decades. And now that people have finally decided to pay attention because covid became so tribalistic like everything else, they’ve made sure to let everyone know “Don’t worry, we’re not like those crazy antivaxers.” 🙄
