Every so often, this ride piques my interest again and I fall back down the rabbit-hole of trying to figure out an obscure Disney ride. And apparently I’m not the only one; over on this lovely French site (linky), there have been multiple theories about who the Phantom is, why he’s doing what…

Was listening to Labyrinth while working out earlier and realized this is one of many fitting songs for them. Then I realized there are a lot of Haunted Mansion/Phantom Manor-y elements to that movie – Escher stairs, an older guy pursuing (sort of) a younger woman, a thirteen-hour clock, a ball/dancing scene. Also kind of a sister, I guess, to one I did a while back.
Just wanted to post something – I’m not dead! Finals week is killer, though.
