The Abatwa are a race of tiny humans in Zulu mythology. Able to hide behind a blade of grass, the Abatwa dwell in ant holes, and live a nomadic lifestyle.
The Abatwa are notoriously shy, and will only allow themselves to be seen by magicians, young children and pregnant mothers. If a woman in the seventh month of her pregnancy sees a male Abatwa, it is said that she will give birth to a boy.
