A lorry/semi truck drove a great distance through a Bastille Day crowd during the July 14 fireworks celebrations.

• CONFIRMED the lorry driver is dead
• CONFIRMED guns and grenades found in the lorry
• CONFIRMED one police officer has been killed
• CONFIRMED a terrorism investigation has been opened
• CONFIRMED fires near Eiffel Tower were NOT related to attacks; damage was accidental and caused by fireworks
• CONFIRMED the state of emergency has been extended for three additional months

• UNCONFIRMED if there were any accomplices involved or still at large
• UNCONFIRMED if there are currently any hostage situations; confirmed there were none after the initial attack
