there is no “still”

it’s not like He is looking at us and going, “oh great…… What a mess…. I guess I’ll be the one to take one for the team and love ‘em 😒”

nah man God is love. He can’t help but see you and absolutely adore you and look at you the way a mother looks at her child for the first time, cradled in her arms as the baby kicks and screams.

me and God have those moments daily, when I realize what a treasure I am to Him, even as I pull back in fear because of attraction to woman. He reaches back for me.

He is not afraid or disgusted at all, I wholeheartedly believe that. He wants my time, He wants me. He has made it clear that He wants all our hearts, nothing as petty as sexuality takes that away.

He wasn’t kidding when He said He died for all the whosoevers. don’t let others hatred and ignorance keep you from the presence of the love of God, that is an amazing gift we all can tap into.

I just want to say that “sexuality” isn’t petty. When it comes to that, it does tend to be serious depending on the situation. While it’s true he died to save this world, Jesus still commanded us to live lives that glorify God.

John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him,
he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.“

Matthew 4:4 “But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” “

Paul mentioned this as well:

Romans 12:1-2 “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present
your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is
your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be
transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern
what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

But I certainly agree that God loves us (and you) and wants to see people be saved. 🙂
